Low moisture absorption of Acetal Sheet
Acetal Sheet has a very low moisture absorption and as a result it will stay stable and change dimensionally very little over prolonged periods of time. It will also resist the absorption of bacteria which will help with food contact applications.

Sliding properties of Acetal Sheet
Many engineering plastics have low co-efficient of friction but Acetal Sheet has a very low sliding resistance, this is excellent for use in slide ways or where mating components are moving and require low resistance.

Ease of machining of Acetal Sheet
Although almost all plastics claim to be easy to machine, Acetal is exceptional during the machining process and will produce components with excellent surface finish. Acetal Sheet will also chip during machining which will resist wrapping around machine tooling to help speed the process and improve efficiency.
